Established in 2018, GMP Investments, an investment vehicle of Global Markets Partners, operates globally through complementary strategies across multiple sectors, asset classes and geographies. We primarily invest in private markets both directly and in partnership with specialized external managers. Our portfolio is built for sustainable growth with a continuous focus on capital protection.

Liftoff

The space sector is an exciting, emerging industry projected to grow from approximately $400 billion in 2019 to $1.8 trillion by 2035. With its long-term potential, the sector aligns well with our multigenerational investment approach. In 2019, we established Liftoff to focus exclusively on space-related investments, underscoring our commitment to this rapidly expanding field.

Odeo Group

Our real estate strategy was established in 2020 in partnership with a multidisciplinary real estate group. We aim to leverage our investment process, extensive network and team’s financing, investing and restructuring experience to seek differentiated value-add opportunities in select international markets.

In 2021 we launched GMP Digital Assets, a dedicated strategy to target Blockchain investment opportunities through partnerships with leading crypto-native venture fund managers. Having invested with exceptional, hard-to-access teams, we are well positioned to identify and capitalize on new trends in this fast-evolving industry while maintaining our core focus on capital preservation through significant manager, vintage and sector diversification.

Arabica Investments

In 2014, we launched Arabica Investments, a company dedicated to Ethiopia, a high-growth market with a population of 120 million. Our goal is to generate strong financial returns while driving significant social and economic impact locally, in collaboration with leading global foundations and impact-driven organizations. Our portfolio companies focus on key areas such as agricultural development, nutrition, women’s economic empowerment, and financial inclusion and have had significant positive impact on the local communities where they operate.
